These slide sandals feature a cushioned cork sole wrapped in buttery-soft leather, paired with intricately hand-woven rattan uppers that highlight natural texture and artisan detail. The leather is sourced from deadstock that would otherwise go to waste, while the use of hand-woven rattan reflects the designer’s commitment to natural materials and traditional craft techniques.

Designed by Lusweti, a talented emerging Kenyan designer, and made by talented shoemakers working in East Africa's largest handicraft market, Kariokor Market, these shoes give unused materials a second life while supporting skilled craftsmanship and sustainable livelihoods.
