Kipepeo, meaning butterfly in Swahili, signifies how this piece mirrors the shape and form of a butterfly. This collection is created by our artisan partner Jack and his team in Kibera, Nairobi, a neighbourhood with a vibrant artistic community. These artisan metalworkers use traditional casting techniques to transform reclaimed brass into finely crafted, unique jewellery. This piece reclaims materials giving them a second life while supporting skilled craftsmanship and sustainable livelihoods.
