Maji Necklace

Maji, meaning water in Swahili, takes its name from the piece’s fluid shape, reminiscent of ripples across the sea. This collection is created by our artisan partner Jack and his team in Kibera, Nairobi, a neighbourhood with a vibrant artistic community. These artisan metalworkers use traditional casting techniques to transform reclaimed brass into finely crafted, unique jewellery. This piece reclaims materials giving them a second life while supporting skilled craftsmanship and sustainable livelihoods.

• Made to order: After placing your order, your piece will be hand crafted for you by our artisans in Kenya – cutting down on waste and promoting sustainable, mindful production. Please allow 2 weeks for dispatch
